The “Real” Secret In Think & Grow Rich

The Secret Napoleon Hill’s Famous Book Is Finally Revealed

Napoleon Hill’s famous book Think and Grow Rich that was written way back in 1937. I first stumbled upon that book years ago and it started to pave the way to start to change the way I see the world. It was incredibly complicated in the way that it was written because of the type of language they used back in that time.

I have read it at least 100 times.

At the beginning of the book, Napoleon Hill adds his Author’s Preface in which he starts to prepare you for what it is that you are about to read. To this day it is my absolute favorite part of that book.

But something has always bothered me about this first part of his book. He goes into great detail in explaining that in his book, a money-making secret is mentioned in this book. Not only is it mentioned, he claims, but it’s mentioned more than 100 different times. And, he also claims, that it’s mentioned at least once in every chapter.

He even calls it a “magical formula” and that those who discover and use the formula will be swept on to success. He even says that it sits there in plain sight for those individuals that are supposedly “ready for the secret” will be able to see it.

And here is the final part to the beginning of his book. He actually gives you a clue to his secret. He says it’s one half of the secret. This is exactly what he says…

It has taken me years and years to discover the other half of his secret. And now, I will unveil it here and I have 100% no doubt in my mind that this is the secret. In fact, I believe it is irrefutable.

Here it is.

The Secret That Napoleon Hill Is Talking About Is

“The Law Of Affection”

All earned riches have their beginning in an idea is the first half. The second half is the idea must affect people, preferably millions.

That’s it. Clear as day. Your idea MUST affect people. Millions of people must be effected preferably in order to bring in riches. And to me, this is absolute and irrefutable. To me it is law.

Like the law of gravity. It never fails. If I pick up my laptop here and slide it off of my table it will fall to the ground 100% of the time. If I do it one time, or if I spend the rest of my life pushes laptops off of desks, those things will always hit the ground. Always. It’s law. It can’t be argued.

It is the law.

So is this law of affection. Affect enough people and you will acquire money.

Impact millions of people and you will make millions. It’s as simple as that.

Do you want proof?

Do you have a bottle of ketchup in your house? It’s probably Heinz Ketchup. How many people do you think squirted ketchup on fries, burgers, hot dogs, eggs, and things we can’t even think of at the moment? I’m willing to bet it is millions. Heinz is worth over $900 million dollars.

Ever popped a tic tac into your mouth? Guess how many people worldwide have done the same? Probably billions because I heard that the company that makes has an annual sales of $19 Billion dollars.

Albert Pujols signed a 10 year $240 million dollar contract. Guess how many people buy Angels baseball game tickets?

They can fit about 50,000 people in a stadium and he plays half his games there and the other half nationwide in front of those fans who pay to watch him play. Also, there are all the games that are televised and aired every night to tens of thousands that advertisers pay huge money to air their ads during the games. Same with games aired on radio.

Why do you think Super Bowl ads cost so much? The ads are aired in front of millions and millions of people. Those super bowl ads have the potential to influence hundreds of millions in one single moment, therefore, the ad airtime is worth millions.

Here Are Handful Of Some Of The Hundreds Of Times Napoleon Hill’s Secret Is Mentioned In His Book

Napoleon Hill talks about Thomas Edison and his inventions including the light bulb. Thomas Edison’s ideas (one half of the secret) not only were great ideas but they impacted millions of people (the other half of the secret).

He talks about Edwin C. Barnes and how he was determined to have a partnership with Thomas Edison. Barnes idea to become a partner was his burning obsession that …

Why You Are Broke

There Is Only One Undisputable Fact Why You Don’t Have Any Money

Have you ever wondered why there are some terrible, mean, dreadful, awful, and just flat out rotten people that have a shit load of money?

Similarly, have you ever wondered how so many kinds, caring, loving, happy, and wonderful people barely have enough to pay their bills?

But let’s be real here…

We all know that there are some very good people that have money and some very rotten ass people that don’t have a dime to their name too.

There is a reason certain people have money while others have nothing at all. It’s the very same reason you have very little money or no money at all. It can be summed up in one word. Are you ready for it?

The word is an impact.

What Impact Are You Making To Your World?

What do I mean by that? Let me give you an example…

How can a baseball player make $10,000,000 a year playing a kids game, while a nurse that tends to patients nonstop 10 to 12 hours a day make $70,000 a year? The reason is irrefutable. The ballplayer makes a bigger impact.

Sure, the nurse is busting ass and tending to her patients’ needs tirelessly but a ballplayer makes a bigger impact. You see, we as human beings are rewarded monetarily by the number of problems we solve for other human beings. This makes an impact on other people’s lives. So, you might think that a nurse helps to solve a patient’s problem, but so does a ballplayer. A ballplayer solves the problem of boredom.

You’re probably thinking “Boredom!? Seriously!? That’s a problem?”

You bet it is! That’s why we watch so many movies, listen to movies, watch TV shows, play video games, and play candy crush and stuff like that.

The reason a ballplayer makes more than a nurse, even though many would consider that profession to be a lot nobler, is that the ballplayer makes a much bigger impact. In fact, the impact is absolutely staggering!

Let’s put some thought into this. Albert Pujols from the Angels makes a monstrous amount of money. Is what he makes justified? Absolutely! How many people pay for a ticket to watch him play “for entertainment” for 160+ games a year? How many people tune in on television (that multi-million dollar companies pay for TV ads into the millions of dollars) to watch him play first base and hit 3 to 4 times a game simply out of boredom? How many people tune in to listen (again, money made with radio ads) on the radio while they’re on the road or at work? How many fans buy jerseys, hats, posters, memorabilia and everything else?

That number runs into tens of millions.

He impacts millions of people daily. He doesn’t impact people in a huge way but impacts millions in a small amount every day. He solves millions of people’s problem with boredom.

Money Is Made When You Solve Problems.

This is why a guy that owns a portable potty business can end up making a million dollars. Have you ever heard of tallow companies? They suck the grease outta restaurants that they do not want and they recycle it for profit. There are people that make great livings from trimming trees in their cities when people need their trees trimmed. There are literally millionaire plumbers out in the USA because people need their toilets unclogged.

Want to be a billionaire? Own toilet paper companies, aggregate companies (concrete, sand, cement, asphalt), oil company or a company like that. Huge items that solve billions of people’s problems make people billions of dollars.

It’s solving other people’s problems that make you money. The more problems you can solve, the more money you will make.

McDonald’s clearly displays why they are a billion dollar company at every location with a sign that says, ”Billions and billions served”. What that sign is really saying is, “We have killed millions of people’s hunger, or problem, therefore we are entitled to the billions of dollars we have earned.”

How many people’s problems can a guy just working as a cashier at McDonald’s solve? I’ll tell you. It’s one. He solves the owner of that franchises problem of filling that cashier position. Impact only one person and you will only make what solving that one person’s problem will pay you. It’s as simple as that. Hell, even providing junk removal services impacts people more than being a cashier!

This is why a person that can be a total asshole, but yet owns a dry-cleaning store in a big town can have a lot of money, own a luxurious car and live in a huge beautiful home. He impacts hundreds of …

One Of My Biggest Failures

How MLM Almost Ruined My Life

If I can talk about one of my biggest failures in lives is getting involved with MLM, or network marketing.

When I was a younger guy I was already starting to get involved in thinking of a bunch of different ways to make extra money on the side along my with my full-time work. I thought about becoming a handy guy like a friend of mine doing handyman services in Fresno successfully. I had already tried and failed at several things and even succeeded a bit in buying a cheap rental property that made me about $100 a month in positive cash flow.

Wasn’t long before a coworker where I worked started to introduce me to a nutritional based MLM company and tried to sell me on the entire concept of it.

Being a young go-getter, naturally, I was lured. I attended an event in my town and witnessed the single most charismatic, energetic, inspiring individual I had ever seen! The guy was amazing and he claimed to be financially free because he had “leveraged” his work with a network of people that helped push these mind-blowing, patent pending, cure everything, nutritional supplements that everyone, and I mean EVERY PERSON ON PLANET EARTH!!

I Was In And I Was In 100%!!

I immediately signed up for their biggest package (cuz you gotta go in big if you want to win right?) at the cost of $1000. That was a staggering amount of money at the time for me.

I went out, made my list of friends and family, listened to their teleconference training calls every Sunday, and hit the streets to sell my new business.

I quickly signed up a few family members, a few friends, a couple coworkers and then made my very first $300!! Wow!! I thought I was on a roll!

Then month 2 came around and suddenly my list was starting to dry up. Nobody else wanted to buy. The people that bought on the first month stopped buying. My business was dying.

Then I decided I needed more training. I was invited to attend a corporate event (which I, of course, had to pay for the plane, lodging, food and to even attend the event.) People said that once you attend you will come back to town with added momentum and a head of steam. I was pumped once again!

This time I hit my warm list again and hard. I decided to purchase hundreds of dollars on videos, marketing materials, DVD, audio tapes to hand out to people showing them the wonders of these nutritional products I offered. I went door to door. I handed out materials. I made a few bucks but in no way would it justify the work and money I was putting in.

I must have spent thousands on that company only to finally realize that it was a complete waste of time. Not only that, it cost me friendships. It was a horrible experience.

The odds of a guy like me making it in MLM are pretty much non-existent.

Do you want to know why?

This goes back to solving problems in order to make money. You have to solve people’s problems in order to generate money. What problem was I solving with nutritional products that thousands of other distributors were already peddling?

Better health? Financial freedom? Sure those are problems but why would anyone come to me to solve those when there are millions of other people that can help them with those problems?

They would never come to me.

I’m glad I figured that out. If I hadn’t, that whole MLM business would have ruined my life.…
